Former BGS San Diego Chapter President, and currently Chapter Marketing Director

David is a Senior Planner for the City of Lemon Grove. He has his BA in Urban Studies & Planning from UCSD and his MBA with an emphasis in Real Estate from SDSU. He really enjoyed trying to get a new product off the ground in SDSU's business plan competition. You can check it out here.

Currently, he's working on starting a new brokerage firm and planning services company: 1000s2u.com

What would Dave like to get from our BGS Chapter? Dave would like to see companies come to us when they're hiring and would like to see a network created for entrepreneurs and job help. Dave encourages you to express your opinion on where the chapter is going so that we all can get the most out of it!

Dave's advice to youngsters: start early, things only get harder as you get older. You can never be over educated, but I would hire based on work experience over degrees. So even if you're working for free, a good reference and related experience goes a long way!
